Costa Smeralda® non è un toponimo ma il nome che riunisce e definisce solo i territori delle proprietà associate al Consorzio Costa Smeralda. L’area geografica gestita dal Consorzio si trova in Gallura, nel nord-est della Sardegna, ed è delimitata da un confine simbolico costituito da due rocce di granito, che recano il nome Costa Smeralda®: una a sud, sulla strada panoramica che viene da Olbia, dopo la località Portisco, l’altra a nord, subito dopo la località Liscia di Vacca, sulla strada per Baja Sardinia. I territori appartenenti al Consorzio Costa Smeralda sono distribuiti su un’area non omogenea di circa 3.500 ettari che interessa i comuni di Arzachena e di Olbia con un’estensione costiera di circa 55 km.

For the third consecutive year, Porto Cervo Marina

For the third consecutive year, Porto Cervo Marina has received the Blue Marina Award, the leading national recognition for excellence in Italian nautical tourism.

The 2025 edition of the awards ceremony was held at Palazzo Doria in Genoa, a UNESCO heritage site, and brought together port authorities, institutions and key players committed to promoting innovation, sustainability and inclusive services across the Italian coastline.

Among the winners, Porto Cervo Marina – owned by Smeralda Holding, a company indirectly controlled by Qatar Investment Authority – was awarded in the “Superyacht Marina” category for its distinctive commitment to environmental responsibility, cutting-edge infrastructure and outstanding guest hospitality.

The Blue Marina Award flag will continue to fly above Porto Cervo Marina in 2026, a symbol of distinction for the destination and for the discerning yachtsmen who choose it year after year.

Mario Ferraro, CEO of Smeralda Holding, commented:

“The recognition of the Blue Marina Awards for the third year in a row confirms the excellence and the quality that distinguish the services dedicated to those who choose Porto Cervo Marina. As one of the most exclusive and well-equipped marinas in the Mediterranean, Porto Cervo Marina offers 600 berths, hosts the world’s most luxurious yachts up to 160 metres in length, and welcomes an international clientele who remain in port for an average of 30 days. The marina is also supported by the operational consultancy of IGY Marinas, the global leader in luxury marina management.
